In close partnership with local education agencies, Performance Santa Fe’s award-winning education programs bring the vibrant world of music, dance, and theater to life for the young people of our community. Every year, we provide inspiring performances, innovative programs, and life-changing interaction with world-renowned performing artists to more than 3,000 students in 24 local schools. These programs serve as a catalyst for academic achievement, enriched creativity, mental well-being, and personal growth. PSF's education programs include Arts for Life, which provides individualized music mentoring and support to Santa Fe Public Schools middle- and high-school ensembles; the Field Trip Series, which brings PSF's world-class mainstage artists to public-school students for interactive matinees; and the Masterclass Series, which gives emerging musicians, dancers, and thespians the chance to learn directly from luminaries in their field. In a school district where 74.8% of students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch and 22% are not expected to graduate high school, Performance Santa Fe is committed to providing unique opportunities to enhance the learning process through the performing arts by offering these programs at absolutely no cost to participants. These programs are funded entirely by foundations, grants, and individual donors.
The mission of Santa Fe Concert Association dba Performance Santa Fe is to present world-class music, dance, and theater, and to provide excellent performing arts education for our community.
