Alternative court where first time juvenile offenders are sentenced to community service, serving on jury duty, and an educational component to fit the crime. The court does not determine innocence or guilt. Teens are judged and sentenced by a teen jury. Specializes in substance abuse prevention, shoplifting prevention, traffice cases, and other misdemeanors. After the teen accepts full responsibility, and successfully completes his or her sentence the charges or fines are dismissed.
