The SWLC is a nonprofit policy and advocacy law center focused on advancing opportunities for women and girls in New Mexico by ensuring equal access to (1) quality, affordable health care: (2) economic security for survivors of domestic violence; (3) equal pay; (4) sports and athletic programs for girls in middle and high school; and (5) reproductive justice and information.  Its 2024 major initiative is to have a Paid Family Medical Leave policy enacted by the legislature.
