The UNM ADOBE program provides wrap-around services for previously incarcerated youths (including those who have been incarcerated in the Bernalillo County Youth Services Center (YSC)). Services include: primary medical care; psychiatric care; home/community based navigators (case management); and educational liaison for each participant. Each youth seen in ADOBE medical clinic can see a psychologist for an initial assessment. Therapy can be provided by ADOBE staff or when needed the youth can be referred to an outside therapeutic agency. Legal advice is available from the UNM School of Law clinic. Call (505) 272-7258 or (505) 206-0696.
Our primary goal is to lower the risk of the youth re-engaging in delinquent/criminal behavior. This is a program of UNM Health Sciences Center Office of Research.
