At the Adobe Rose Theatre we create high quality, sustainable theatre that contributes to the cultural, educational, and economic environment of Santa Fe. We produce our own in house ART Productions from classics like “Bus Stop”, to contemporary pieces such as “Time Stands Still”, to ground breaking national premiers like “Building The Wall”. We also provide beautiful, affordable, subsidized space for productions by beloved local theatre groups who lack a venue including Theater Grottesco, Theaterwork, Just Say It Theater , the ISC, The Upstart Crows and more. Our mandate also includes free space for the community with a special focus on education-related events and activities. Mandela School, Monte del Sol, the New Deal Organization, the National Endowment for the Arts, and Creative Santa Fe are just some of the community organizations we have helped. We also host special events and performances featuring the work of awarding winning artists, including Ann Randolph’s, “Inappropriate in All the Right Ways”, James Lecesne’s “the Absolute Brightness of Leonard Pelkey”, John Carney’s “CarneyMagic”, Pulitzer Prize playwright Robert Schenkkan and others. Please join us as we seek to facilitate theatre in our community and be a catalyst for creativity across New Mexico!
