Transportation

Transportation is provided to registered seniors 60+, spouses, and caregivers on a schedule. We assist our seniors with trips to and from Alamo Senior Center, doctor appointments, grocery shopping, beauty appointments, and miscellaneous errands. 

Buses run Monday - Friday (except holidays). The Morning Route leaves the Alamo Senior Center at 8:00 am and returns approximately 9:15 am. The Lunch Route leaves the Center at 9:45 am and returns to the Center at approximately 10:15 am. The First Afternoon Route leaves the Alamo Senior Center at 1:00 pm and returns approximately 2:00 pm. The Second Afternoon Route leaves the Center at 3:00 pm.

The Alamo Senior Center's mission is to provide services for persons 60 and over and their spouses regardless of age. The Center is a social environment, which provides support, education, recreation, nutrition and entertainment for elderly persons in Alamogordo and the surrounding area. The Center's goal is to provide an opportunity to maintain a vital role in life for all persons.
