ABQ-ALC's Career Pathways Coordinator supports students with life skills and workforce readiness training in support of participants preparing for their High School Equivalency Credential and/or college entry or employment. This transitional assistance program helps ABQ-ALC track and provide the communities it serves with impact data and its return on investment. ABQ-ALC's transitional assistance program is one of our organization's innovative models and best practices.
Albuquerque Adult Learning Center's mission is to support adults to thrive by providing a safe and inclusive environment through student-focused education and adult career services. Our vision is to foster an individual’s desire for education, opportunity, and independence. In keeping with it's mission and vision, ABQ-ALC provides free adult education services to youth and adults ages 16 and older to address literacy and high school equivalency deficits. ABQ-ALC's overarching goal is to serve those most in need.
