The Albuquerque Museum Foundation provides direct support for:
The Museum School-a year round art education program for youth and families
The Magic Bus-free educational tours of the Museum and Casa San Ysidro in Corrales for approximately 8,500 school students and teachers each year
Educational programs for at risk and homeless students and youths in the community which includes an annual career fair for homeless high school junior and senior students
Public programs-especially exhibit related lectures, symposia and professional development workshops for teachers
Docent training and Museum staff development
Acquisitions for the Museum’s permanent art and history collections
Special traveling exhibitions which bring high quality works from around the nation and the world to our community, enabling New Mexicans to have access to artistic and cultural experiences usually only available in major cities. These include the acclaimed “Killer Heels” and highly anticipated exhibits such as “When Modern was Contemporary: Selections from the Roy R. Neuberger Collection opening September 2017 and “Treasures from the Hispanic Society of America” opening November 2018

Two friend/fundraisers each year: artsthr¡ve art exhibition and benefit in the fall and Shaken, Not Stirred a high-end cocktail party and raffle of a trip. Event is focused on young professionals with philanthropic goals and community interests
