AMP presents over 200 events a year, in venues from small intimate spaces to large theaters across the state of New Mexico. AMP is one of the producers of Globalquerque! - New Mexico's Annual Celebration of World Music and Culture, and presents a free monthly programs in the Albuquerque/Bernalillo County pubic libraries, a free quarterly series for the developmentally disabled artists at VSA North Fourth Arts Center, and runs a free summer concert and film series at the Santa Fe Railyard. AMP also provides a wealth of high-quality ticketed events, primarily in Albuquerque, Santa Fe and Toas, in venues ranging from 100 to 8,000 capacity. AMP prides itself on creating community through music and is a member supported organization with heavy volunteer support.
AMP provides cultural education across New Mexico through musical experiences, presenting a variety of events highlighting international and American musical styles, as well as workshops, outreach programs, an annual world music festival, and collaborative projects.
