The Applied Dynamics Initiative (ADI) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit fostering interest in STEAM through educational programs and robotics within the FIRST® Inspires framework. ADI supports FIRST® LEGO League (FLL) for ages 9-16, FIRST® Tech Challenge (FTC) for ages 12-18, and FIRST® Robotics Competition (FRC) for ages 14-18, with teams in Albuquerque and Alamogordo, NM. Emphasizing "Kids build robots, robots build kids," ADI promotes invaluable STEAM skills, teamwork, "Coopertition™" (cooperation in competition), and "Gracious Professionalism™" (respectful conduct). Over 96% of funds directly enhance students' STEAM education, aiming to cultivate future leaders and skilled professionals for New Mexico's technical landscape. Highlighted teams, A.S.T.R.O. Vikings and ENIGMA, represent NM at the World Championship, showcasing ADI's impact on student growth and community development.
