South Vallye Dia de los Muertos Marigold Parade and Celebration

Cambio’s program provides opportunities to learn about traditional art within the South Valley itself.  Community members and teachers attend workshops to enrich their curricula; they and their students create floats presenting folkloric art, music and dance. The Parade is a snapshot of the community’s cultural environment - thousands of participants, face-painted and costumed, dance to the music from the passing floats. Arts and crafts vendors display and sell their products at the celebration.
