Twice each year, these free, three-day educational retreats provide NM's adult cancer patients/survivors and their loved ones with the tools and information to manage the survival process. The program combines in-depth educational workshops with fun family activities. It is the largest general cancer education program in New Mexico.
To provide services that reduce cancer suffering for New Mexico's families. Over 100,000 New Mexicans are currently living with cancer and over 10,000 new cases are diagnosed each year. Cancer Services of New Mexico was formed in May 2001 to address gaps in our state's cancer-related services. We work closely with other cancer organizations across New Mexico to ensure no duplication of services.
