Our job here at the Carlsbad Battered Families Shelter is to help you with dignity and respect. We hope that our victim service program will help you to move past this time of crisis with as little trouble as possible. If you have questions or would like to make an appointment for victim services, as well as Temporary Restraining Orders, please call Sharon Janes, Monday through Friday, at 885-4615. Service include: 24 hour crisis intervention, offender rehabilitation classes, DV survivor groups, children/witness groups, parenting classes, individual life skill sessions, residential shelter, transportation for residential clients, legal aid referrals, court advocacy and assistance with restraining orders, rental assistance,and job searches.

We at the Carlsbad Battered Families Shelter want to make sure that victims of domestic violence are aware of various services that may help in time of need. Domestic violence is a vicious cycle and there are services availible to help in breaking that cycle.
