CASA, First Judicial District, is dedicated to recruiting, training, and supporting community volunteers who advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children that are in foster care. CASA First Judicial District serves foster children in three northern New Mexico counties, Santa Fe, Rio Arriba and Los Alamos and advocates for abused and neglected children every year to help them reach safe and permanent homes.Our volunteers act as an extra set of eyes by visiting with the children, communicating with other professionals, and ultimately making sure the child is safe and that all possible services are being provided.
