To determine eligibility a potential client must be able to provide proof of Placitas residency (e.g., driver's license, utility bill, lease or rental agreement) showing the individual's name and current Placitas address, as well as to self-declare total household income. In addition to food: hygiene items, pet food and supplies, clothing, household goods and occasionally furniture and appliances (thanks to generous donations from the community!) when available are distributed to those in greatest need. During the late fall and winter months, we typically have winter coats, gloves and other cold-weather clothing available in a variety of adult and children's sizes.
Register any Saturday morning during food distribution hours from 9:00-11:00 am. (Casa Rosa purchases food through Roadrunner Food Bank and also from local stores.)
