Central New Mexico Housing Corporation works in conjunction with local, state, and federal programs to permanently reduce the energy bills of low-income families by making their homes more energy efficient. Applicants must complete required documentation which includes proof of income and ownership, recent electric or gas bill, picture identification for everyone over 18 years of age, and date of birth for all members of the household.
Central New Mexico Housing Corporation's mission is to help the low income families of New Mexico make their homes energy efficient, one by educating our clients on energy saving measures and two by performing all possible energy saving measures on their homes which will in turn lower their monthly energy usage, lower their monthly bills and create a more energy efficient home for their families.
