A food pantry distributes groceries to people who are poor, low income. Food pantries receive food through private donations, the USDA commodities programs, or/or through a Food Bank. Some pantries are in church basements, while others may be nothing more than a closet in a daycare facility. Food pantries are usually staffed by part-time volunteers, and hours and eligibility criteria can change. We provide food and clothing to residents of Lincoln County. We also provide assistance to stranded travelers and utility assistance to residents when funding is available, and referrals to other churches or agencies in Lincoln Country that might be of assistance.
