This type of crew is our most common crew. We are seeking people ages 18-25 for these crews to work on conservation projects in New Mexico, Western Texas and Eastern Arizona. These 8-person crews cam and work for 8 days in a row and have 6 days off. CCNM provides a living stipend, a grocery budget and members can apply for a deferment of student loans. At the end of their term of service, members receive an AmeriCorps Segal Education Award that can be applied to most colleges, universities and/or trade schools.
Conservation Corps New Mexico is a service-oriented program that focuses on young adults learning about and completing service projects. We partner with federal and local agencies to work on projects including hiking trail construction and maintenance, ecosystem restoration and fire prevention.
