The Corrales Tractor Club (CTC) holds 4 to 5 free shows for the public each year, where we display antique farming tractors and engines, provide opportunities for children to climb on and be photographed on the tractors, answer questions from the public, and give brief talks about the history behind a specific tractor. The shows are open to the public and are free of charge. We welcome all members of the public, ranging from young children who are always eager to learn about tractors, all the way up to elderly who grew up farming with similar equipment.
Shows are frequently held in cooperation with local 4H groups and the local Farmers’ Market. We also demonstrate the mechanical power advantages of tractors in tractor pull demonstrations and competitions. The Corrales Tractor Club members also participate in the Village of Corrales July 4th parade, providing hay wagon rides during the Village of Corrales annual Harvest Festival (sponsored by the Corrales branch of Kiwanis International), and in the Christmas-season Starlight Parade.
The Corrales Tractor Club (CTC) was formed to foster the knowledge and enjoyment of historic food production methods by demonstrating antique agricultural power equipment, including stationary engines, row tractors, and associated machines and implements. 100% of the Corrales Tractor Club’s time is spent on tractor shows, exhibitions, parades, and ancillary supporting activities. Our shows welcome all members of the public, ranging from young children who are always eager to learn about tractors, all the way up to elderly who grew up farming with similar equipment and want to know more. Our membership is open to anyone with an interest in antique agricultural equipment.
