The Sierra County Health Council has published a fact sheet that describes the mission, priorities and accomplishments. Learn more and support the work of your community health council.

The Sierra County Health Profile, created in partnership with the NM Community Data Collaborative, provides data on 17 equity indicators linked to health council priorities for their community. Equity is defined as everyone having the opportunity to reach their “full health potential” without disadvantage from “socially determined circumstances.” A listing of health profiles for all counties is available here.

The Olive Tree Integrative Wellness Center is working with Sierra County in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico to provide services for our community members being released from incarceration. We have found that most re-integrating back into the community after incarceration have nothing, and they are released from jail with nothing but the clothes on their back. Our focus is re-integrating released individuals back into the community, supplying them with temporary housing, therapy/counseling services, group classes, substance abuse classes, case management, and job search assistance
