The Valencia County Health Profile, created in partnership with the NM Community Data Collaborative, provides data on 17 equity indicators linked to health council priorities for their community. Equity is defined as everyone having the opportunity to reach their “full health potential” without disadvantage from “socially determined circumstances.” A listing of health profiles for all counties is available here.
Emergency Eviction Prevention Program is Back. Once again, that HSD, CYFD, and HopeWorks have teamed up to provide Emergency Eviction Prevention to victims of COVID-19 related job loss. Applicants must be residents of Bernalillo, Sandoval, or Valencia Counties, This assistance is only available to housed families with children that have lost income as a direct result of COVID-19 restrictions for employment and must be in a rental lease with a verifiable landlord. 100% Community Survey. We invite you to share your thoughts and experiences invite you to share your thoughts and experiences on access to basic family services in our county by participating in an important survey. The 100% Community Valencia and the Anna Age 8 Institute would like to learn about your experiences getting access to medical care, childcare, job training, transportation, housing, and more. How easy or difficult is it to get these services and what challenges do you face? The results will be used to make recommendations to our city and county officials and community organizations so that we can improve the quality of life in our county. Your participation is voluntary, anonymous, and will take approximately 10 minutes to complete.

Community Health Implementation Report. Through collaboration with the Valencia County Community Wellness Council, Presbyterian Center for Community Health supports a number of community programs and events and helps link residents to community resources that address Presbyterian’s community health priorities: Active Living, Healthy Eating, Prevention of Unhealthy Substance Use, Behavioral Health, and Violence Prevention. The 2018 Report to the Community is now available.
