Events: Salsa Fest, an annual August event to celebrate our heritage and culture with salsa making contests; Winter Fest, an annual December event to celebrate the Christmas season with Callejoneada (traveling dancers and singers accompanied by Mariachis.) Business and Property Owners First Thursday Monthly Breakfast to update business and property owners about the process and progress of downtown revitalization. TIDD (tax increment district development) will set aside taxes collected in the downtown area to be used for infrastructure upgrades.
The Downtown Las Cruces Partnership (DLCP) is a New Mexico based 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation whose mission is to promote the revitalization of the historic downtown area of the city of Las Cruces.
