1) EMERGENCY FOOD ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (TEFAP): This program operates through the food bank daily, and provides United States Department of Agriculture commodities to families and individuals who qualify regardless of age based on household size and income.
2) AGENCY Surplus Foods: This program allows other not-for-profit organizations to obtain food and non-food items for transportation, handling fees, only. Hours 7:30am - 12:00pm and 1:00pm - 4:30pm Monday-Thurs. days.
3) EMERGENCY FOOD BOX: Provides temporary food assistance to seniors 60+ who are in emergency need. Clients who are not receiving Food Stamps and are referred by the Food Stamp Office may receive assistance not more than 4 times every 12 mon. Bring picture ID for adults & proof of physical address.
4) "FREE FOOD FOR SENIORS " - The Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) provides monthly nutritious food, recipes, basic nutrition information and referrals to other programs for income-qualified, New Mexico resident seniors 60 years and up.
