We transform the lives of abused and neglected children by keeping siblings together in a loving, family farmhouse and giving them tools for success in life. Siblings that have been abused or neglected often have stronger ties to each other than to their parents. While separation from parents can be traumatic, separating siblings adds to their emotional burden. El Ranchito provides a long-term/permanent home in a rural farm setting where children are raised together as a family under one roof.
Our children are given the best education possible to help them break the destructive cycles of poverty and abuse.
El Ranchito receives no state or federal funding and relies 100% on private donations. We are a children's home that is licensed by NM CYFD, certified by the NM Christian Child Care Association and accepts children aged 0-18 regardless of age, sex, race, ethnicity, religion or disability.
El Ranchito de los Ninos is a non-profit children's home dedicated to keeping brothers and sisters together who might otherwise be separated in foster care.
