Feed New Mexico Kids is on a mission to end childhood hunger because hunger doesn't take the weekend off. While schools provide vital meals during the week, many children face a "nutrition gap" on Saturdays and Sundays.
Working with 14 partner organizations, we bridge this gap by delivering nutritious, non-perishable snack packs to schools across five districts, from Los Lunas to Pecos. These packs are distributed every Friday, ensuring students have easy-to-prepare food to sustain them until they return to the classroom on Monday.
Feed New Mexico Kids Inc. makes a difference in the lives of food insecure children across our state via five school districts. Through donations of nutritious snackable food items that a child may open and eat on the spot, we aim to get weekend food to any child in New Mexico who has need, whether they have a home, a responsible adult in their lives, or are simply in a season where the family has fallen on hard times. Together, we can feed the smallest and most vulnerable members of society.
