Fort Bayard State Veterans Home provides care for people who have a medical need and who can no longer provide care for themselves and is available to any honorably discharged Veteran, Veteran Spouse and Gold Star Parents. FBSVH also offers skilled care which is provided to people who need rehabilitative services or a higher degree of medical care. In addition to full nursing care, and in-house physicians Fort Bayard State Veterans Home also offers Social Services, Therapeutic Activity, Physical/Occupational/Speech Language Pathology, and Restorative Nursing, X-ray, Laboratory Services, Pharmacy, and Transportation Services.
