Summer Reading Program

Every year during June and July, the library hosts a summer reading program in which children track their hours of reading on a reading log. Every log turned in, is an entry into a drawing for a prize. We have 3 prizes for each of the 4 reading level categories. We also have weekly programs during this time. Tuesdays- Builder's club, Wednesdays-Story-time and craft, Thursdays-Teen Night, Fridays- Anime Club.

The mission of the Friends of the Moriarty Community Library is support the library in its mission to provide timely and appropriate resources for information, education, culture, technology and recreation, while nurturing a life-long love for reading and learning. The friends also provide additional money for library materials, equipment, and programming from funds received through donation and fundraising.
