The Veteran Center serves all veterans of Guadalupe County by assisting with funding resources provided by the Federal Government. As well as assistance with simple applications for services such as property tax exemption, hunting/fishing license, employment assistance, and more. Technical support with laptops available for veteran use. The Department of Veteran Affairs - Veterans Service Organization (VSO) and Mental Health Providers are available on site every 3rd Wednesday of the month, from 10 am to 2 pm to assist Veterans with their needs. The representative for the National Cemetery Affairs is at the center every 3 months to assist with end-of-life arrangements. The Veteran Center houses a Museum, Library, Community Center and Chapel on site with coffee and water available daily for patrons. The Veterans Center provides organized group trips out of town for veterans.
