Intergenerational Community Development

Hands Across Time is a developing project of SINC, that seeks to eliminate suffering caused by poverty, inequality, and prejudice; through inspiring, building and operating fully sustainable intergenerational communities, where displaced children, elders, resident volunteers, foster/adoptive families and young adults who have ‘aged out’ come together with our organization to foster and maintain a supportive community that spans generations.

Our community will offer a variety of programs and services, including; but not limited to:

  • art
  • holistic living
  • sustainability
  • life skills training
  • financial education
  • access to holistic healthcare
  •  housing
  • support systems for transitional periods in life
  • animal therapy

One of our goals is to promote an environment where each member has a purpose, place, and value. We  also hope to  involve our surrounding community with interactive programs.
