Haven’s Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is specifically designed for men and women 25 and older who are in need of more rigorous treatment than weekly therapy, but who do not require inpatient services. Patients will participate in group therapy, individual therapy and will be provided with medication management. The IOP meets three days per week for three hours. The days vary to accommodate individuals who may work during the week and includes an evening and weekend schedule. Haven’s IOP is staffed by independently licensed social workers, psychiatrists, psychologists and nurse practitioners with a Registered Nurse (RN) on call. The IOP is comprised of two tracks specializing in programming for patients with primary psychiatric illness, as well as those with substance abuse/addiction disorders: Behavioral Health IOP and Substance Abuse IOP.
Haven’s mission is to partner with communities and families to improve the lives of patients through the delivery of quality specialty behavior services. Haven’s philosophy is one of working together with family, physicians, long-term care providers and other agencies involved in meeting the healthcare needs of adults and senior adults.
