HELP-NM exists to create self-sufficiency and promote economic opportunities to strengthen families throughout New Mexico. Over the past 45 years HELP-NM has provided services to more than 816,000 individuals and families including migrant families, self-employed farmers and ranchers, low-income families, abused and neglected children, senior citizens, people with disabilities, and disadvantaged youth. Services include: adult education, job training, early childhood development and education, youth development and care, literacy training, emergency assistance (including rent assistance and utilities/utility assistance), affordable supportive housing, nutritious meals for child care homes and centers.
