We provide guided tours on request for schools or other groups. The tours include the historic Territorial Adobe House, the original Homestead Cabin, Doctor's Office, the Museum and Archaeologial Site (Mattocks Ruin) of the Mimbres Mogollon people.
The self-guided tour of the Archaeological Site is available anytime.
The mission of the Mimbres Culture Heritage Site is to protect and preserve the prehistoric and historic features of the site, and to provide visitors with educational opportunities to increase their understanding of land use in the Mimbres Valley by experiencing the Mattocks Ruin Archaeologilcal Site, the Gooch and Wood historic houses and a Museum.
