The Southwest Branch of The International Dyslexia Association is a non-profit organization established to continue work in the study, prevention, and treatment of the specific language disability known as dyslexia. With a broader interest of literacy in general, the branch accomplishes its work through an annual conference, college scholarships, conference scholarships, a telephone hot-line, a video-audio tape library, tutor and diagnostic referral service, and seminar, workshops, and lectures for those interested in receiving information on dyslexia and its treatment.
