Learners Chess runs over 40 chess clubs each year, serving over 1,500 students in Central New Mexico. Most of our programs are fee-based programs. We do have some programs at lower income schools that do not chrage fees, funded by schools and private donations. In all of our fee-based programs, we offer need-based scholarships to families who cannot afford the regualr program price at their school.
The mission of Learners Chess is to use chess as a medium through which children develop analytical, social, and leadership skills for success in school and in life.
