Food stamps or SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits help put groceries and food on the table for people experiencing hunger.  These temporary benefits are based on income and are issued monthly  through an electronic debit (EBT) cards.  Your family can use the benefits placed on the card to purchase groceries at authorized retailers. The State of New Mexico’s Income Support Division administers the program in New Mexico.

If you need help applying for SNAP (food stamp) benefits, Road Runner Food Bank can help you.  If you live in New Mexico, our SNAP Outreach team members can get you started on the application.
