This guide will: (1) provide information about the landlord-tenant relationship; (2) tell you about your rights in that relationship; and (3)  help you avoid some of the problems that sometimes occur in renting houses or apartments. This guide is based on the New Mexico law that covers landlord-tenant relations for residential housing, the “Uniform Owner-Resident Relations Act.”
