Permanent Funds for Early Childhood

Proposed legislation would enable a statewide vote on a constitution amendment to include early childhood education in the allocation of funds from NM’s Land Grant Permanent Fund for “common schools.” This would provide an additional $150 million for early childhood programs. Funds could be used for a combination of early childhood services.
