US Children Aren't Getting Enough to Eat

Since the COVID-19 pandemic began, food insecurity has remained persistently elevated at record levels. An analysis new data shows that an unprecedented number of children in the United States are experiencing food insecurity and did not have sufficient food as of late June. Recommendations include expansion of three programs: SNAP, SNAP emergency allotments, and P-EBT funding to replace school meals.
