People who request food bank assistance are asked to verify their residence in Lincoln County or Mescalero on their initial visit and bring a photo ID on each subsequent visit. The proof of residency will need to be updated every six months. Qualifying residents may receive a box of food every 30 days. A card is maintained on file for each client who is served through our food bank. Each client is treated with courtesy and respect by our dedicated volunteers.
We maintain a bulletin board which displays materials covering such topics as reading literacy, locations serving free meals, free pet neutering, community services, and a list of other food banks. Another bulletin board is available for clients to post jobs they are seeking, or skills and services they are offering as a means of employment.
Lincoln County Food Bank’s mission is to assist residents in need of food and personal care items in Lincoln County and Mescalero.
