Forest Health and Watershed Improvement Education

the Little Bear Forest Reform Coalition conducts a variety of community and tourist visitor education activities to provide information on wildfire protection, forest health and watershed improvement. These include 1) monthly seminars on a variety of forest and watershed topics; 2) annual wood industry and forest conferences; 3) installation and operation of road-side LED messaging signs displaying forest health and watershed improvement messages on major highways throughout the southcentral mountain region; and 4) creation and distribution of a wildfire prevention and safety refrigterator magnet to rural residents through Lincoln County and Mescalero.
