Little Dirt Farms is a microfarm located in Corrales, New Mexico with a mission to grow locally produced, chemical free produce. The project serves as a working farm model, feasibility study, and market research opportunity. Little Dirt Farms' long term goal is to create a sustainable small farm business model that can allow farmers to utilize irrigated land and preserve water rights and farmland in the Rio Grande Valley. As part of this search for sustainable business models, Little Dirt Farms has created partnerships with other local farms and sells produce through Corrales Community Farms. This collective approach to market has been developed in order to build a local food supply chain that local farmers can rely on and utilize to grow a sustainable local food production business in Corrales.
