Day Services

The Day Services program for individuals with Developmental Disabilities provides workshops based in visual arts, music, yoga, literacy, and performing arts at Mandy's Farm in the South Valley and the Appaloosa Art Space in Nob Hill.  Clients at both the Mandy’s Farm location and Appaloosa are given access to classes and open studio sessions in which they can explore painting, drawing, collage, printmaking, and ceramics.  Clients’ work is then displayed, and even sold at farmer’s markets and other Mandy’s Farm events. Day Services participants who attend at Appaloosa are also given daily access to Day Services activities at the farm, including swimming, gardening, and animal husbandry.  Service learning and community recreation are also important parts of the daily activities offered at Appaloosa.
