Media Literacy Project's programs work to build youth leadership, elevate media justice issues, and connect media policy to our daily lives to strengthen New Mexico communities. Our current programs center on media projects conducted by youth across the state. Campaigns Through local and national partnerships, the Media Literacy Project works in New Mexico to impact national and local media policies that benefit all communities. Presentations and Trainings Each year Media Literacy Project delivers media literacy presentations to thousands of youth and adults across the New Mexico and the U.S. We customize each training to meet client goals and objectives, and we develop evaluation components as needed. Trainings include current and relevant media examples such as movie, TV show, and music video clips, commercials, print ads, photographs, and audio, along with a facilitated discussion of the media content and issue areas. Media Literacy Project trainings comprise of anything from a single 45-minute presentation to multi-day media literacy trainings. We are available to speak to your school, organization, place of worship, conference, or community group. Multimedia Resources Our DVDs and CDs are used by educators, prevention specialists, health professionals, advocates, and others across the country. We've also produced a number of free resources you can download and print from our website.
