NAMI New Mexico is an effective mental health organization dedicated to empowering and enlightening New Mexico's diverse population thru advocacy, education and support: (1) providing education programs for families, individuals, providers and communities; (2) promoting innovative, state-wide education and treatment in diverse community settings; (3) working to abolish stigma; (4) working with all branches and levels of government to promote systems change and expand resource; and (5) providing safe environments to promote resiliency and recovery. Programs include Family to Family Connections, In Our Own Voice, Peer to Peer Training, Breaking the Silence, Peer Support Groups, Family Support Group,s Educational Presentations.
