We’re reaching out to you today to ask for your support for our 10th Annual Tribal Public Health Summit that will take place in Albuquerque, New Mexico on May, 13-15th, 2019 at the Albuquerque Convention Center.
NIHB’s National Tribal Public Health Summit is held each spring and is the largest public health gathering in Indian Country each year. Approximately 700 Tribal leaders, Tribal public health staff, Tribal citizens, federal partners, foundations, and university partners come from across Indian Country to discuss public health, share policy recommendations and program approaches, and access over 35 breakout sessions. The Summit is also a key networking opportunity that allows Tribal staff to interact directly with leaders from other Tribes as well as federal partners.
By becoming an official sponsor, your business will receive a key opportunity to showcase your support for Tribal public health, and to build great relationships with multiple stakeholders interested in advancing public health.
Without direct support from sponsors, these conference events cannot succeed. By supporting this unique forum for learning, partnership building and advocacy, our sponsors play a key role in elevating the importance of public health in Indian Country, and build the capacity for public health infrastructure and workforce.
Established by the Tribes to advocate as the united voice of federally recognized American Indian and Alaska Native Tribes, NIHB seeks to reinforce Tribal sovereignty, strengthen Tribal health systems, secure resources, and build capacity to achieve the highest level of health and well-being for our People.
