Camp Invention is a weeklong summer enrichment program with curricula focused on developing creativity, inventive thinking, and problem solving skills through hands-on STEM content. Camp Invention is hosted by several districts and schools throughout New Mexico.
The National Inventors Hall of Fame's STEM enrichment programs are developed on six tenets:
The National Inventors Hall of Fame®’s (NIHF) mission is to be a catalyst for change through recognizing inventors and invention, promoting creativity, and advancing the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship.
We inspire innovation in America. In this 21st Century economy, we recognize the critical need for a strong STEM workforce, a creative, inventive society, and a future workforce that can both compete in a global environment and drive innovation that will better the world. As a mission-based nonprofit organization, NIHF dynamically challenges the future and inspires people of all ages to change the world. To this end, NIHF is constantly evolving: culturally, operationally, visually, and virtually, serving the Pre‐K - 20 education market with leading-edge Innovation and Intellectual Property focused enrichment programs, internships, and competitions. NIHF programs are inspired by the world’s greatest innovators, and we honor their legacy through the nation’s National Monument to Innovation - the National Inventors Hall of Fame Museum.
Our role is to honor the men and women whose inventions have made the world a better place; and use our Inductees’ stories to inspire the next generation, advance the spirit of entrepreneurship and ensure American ingenuity continues to thrive in the hands of coming generations.
