INDIGENT WELFARE CASKET: Burial assistance up to $2,500.00 paid directly to the funeral home for indigent casket, professional services, and transportation from the funeral home to the burial site. DISASTER ASSISTANCE: Provides vouchers to purchase food, clothing, blankets, and towels for victims who have been burned out of their home. BLOCK GRANT: This program is used for self sufficiency (i.e, will assist if a person wants to go back to school or a person who has just started work but will not get paid in time to cover their rent, etc.). LOW-INCOME HOME ENERGY ASSISTANCE: Helps those qualified individuals who live on the reservation with heating bills, weatherization, and wood stoves.
