Patient grants: non-medical financial support to patients for assistance with basic needs: food, shelter, utilities & essential services to maintain their families during their cancer treatment. Your financial counselor will let you know whether you might qualify for a non-medical financial grant from the Foundation.
Patient education programs: programs are provided on a wide range of topics: cancer signs & diagnosis, family support, genetic counseling, financial/insurance issues, legal counseling, support groups, survivorship. Our Patient Navigator works with patients, families, physicians and the health care system to assist you with all of your supportive cancer care.
Medical education (CME's) for New Mexican physicians (from all counties) to increase their knowledge and understanding for early diagnosis and new treatments for cancer. To use technology to educate caregivers and physicians in rural areas of New Mexico.
