Donated Dental Services (DDS)

The Donated Dental Services (DDS) program provides free, comprehensive dental treatment to New Mexico’s most vulnerable people with permanent disabilities or who are age 50 or over. These are people who cannot afford necessary treatment and cannot obtain treatment through other means. The program operates through a volunteer network of dentists and dental labs across the state. Call for an application or visit:  http://www.nmdentalfoundation.org.

Applicants for Donated Dental Services (DDS) must lack adequate income to pay for the needed dental care, must NOT have dental insurance and must:

  • Have a permanent disability, or
  • Be age 60 or older, or
  • Be a veteran

Smiling is central to our human experience. Vital to our overall health, a smile builds confidence, and encourages laughter. It reduces stress. A healthy smile helps us land jobs and find love. A smile can save us from anguish. A healthy smile allows us to nourish ourselves. The work to maintain and restore healthy smiles is at the core of the NM Foundation for Dental Health Research and Education. Across New Mexico, we implement oral health strategies across sectors to improve quality of life for all New Mexicans.
