New Mexico Humanities Council

Since 1972, the New Mexico Humanities Council (NMHC) has sought to engage New Mexicans with history, culture, and diverse humanities topics through public programming. Imaginative and accessible programs start conversations that lead to a greater understanding of and interest in the richness of our human experience and heritage. NMHC programs include grant funding, National History Day, Speakers Bureau, Atlas of New Mexico Historic Maps, and Democracy and the Informed Citizen.
